Dena’s Vlog: May 29, 2009
May 30, 2009 – 4:07 am
If nothing else, I just wanted to thank everyone who asked how my neck was doing in the comments of the last RE video. I don’t know what I did to it–I think I just slept on it wrong, along with spending too much time sitting at the computer–but for whatever reason I could barely move it for 2 days, ended up having to miss work, and generally had a rough week because of it. It’s mostly better now, tho, thank god. … game den dena lee still gaming funny video games let’s play dtt debased to …

Hey Dena, I didn’t know yo were a fan of D! That’ awesome! Did you ever play that game by the same company where you had to go through levels where the enemies were invisible and you could only tell where they were by the chiming sound that kept getting faster the closer you got to them? That is a fantastic survival horror game……I just can’t remember it’s damn name xD

I have PD saga. I never beaten it though. So I’ll skip that LP whenever you get around to it. I want experience it myself. Anyway,it cost me $150+ at the time. That’s the most I spent on a game ever.

You rock! Sorry I don’t watch and comment on all of your vids, but I listened/watched all of this. Coolness.
If Sinistermoon ever sees this (he did comment here), big ups to ya! You rock man! I love your vids and seeing you on the CGR forums.

Looking forward to your PDS play through. I have a 2-Bit Gaming mini series coming out eventually on the whole franchise and depending on when I do it and when you do your play through I may hit you up for some PDS footage. I still have a ton of saves for it, but if there’s something specific I need and I don’t want to play for hours to get it, I’ll contact you to see if you have it.

Hmm, I haven’t played Soul Reaver in awhile, but I think I remember it being pretty easy.
I’m actually not too crazy about Defiance. The story got way too convoluted and the level design was cheap (invisible walls, fixed camera angles, etc.). Fighting was kinda fun, but it basically ripped off of Devil May Cry.
My favorite in the series is Soul Reaver 2, mainly for the story and character development.

Soul Reaver I know very little about, my nephew liked it but he said it eventually got too hard. I always wonder about that series, and if Legacy of Kain Defiance was really as good as everyone said. I know so little about it yet I feel like I should know more.

Wow a lot to talk about. You’re going to become the Silent Hill girl though you know, but everyone needs an angle lol. I’ve looked into making game videos/reviews etc. and sparred with Windows Media Player several times so I know that making videos is a lot of work, just do them at a comfortable pace and have fun with them. D should be an interesting episode because it’s a really short game, very creepy though. Unfortunately all I know about it is what HVGN did on it, I wish I could play it.

love the RE lets play and the ideas for future ones, especially silent hill doubt i’ll get the cash to get it off ebay and not looking forward to the remake? that’s coming out for the Wii (and a few other systems i think). I think the reason people probably like the lets play of RE is because you’re enjoying it and the commentary is funny along with the bad voice acting that i don’t think they’ve ever fixed when they remade it.

Hehe I did read the description. I just had to say it anyhow lol.
Well if you do find your VMU and want to change the battery you can use either a 1.4mm flat or a #0 phillips. And the battery is a CR2032. Last one I bought was at Wal-Mart for like $3.

That’s the one I’m currently working on.

Hey, what happened to that NES game you were going to review?
By narutoscool191 on May 30, 2009
I’d love to see either a silent hill 4 gameden, or an LP.
Also, I love the resident evil LP, its great.
By SnakeWaffle on May 30, 2009
I’m really liking the LP videos and would love to see more of other games. Personally I suck at games and have only ever had a NES but for some strange reason I really like watching other people play games, and yours are really entertaining.
By AlwaysClumsy on May 30, 2009
Heh, good point! I remembered the time limit and that the only time I actually ran out of time was when I did it intentionally just to see what would happen, but forgot about the lack of saving. It’d get done in one sitting whether I wanted it to or not =P
By Cyborcat on May 30, 2009
I do pretty much all my vlogs like this =P
By Cyborcat on May 30, 2009
I know–it’s not for saving, it’s for the little symbols that show up during the game. I can probably play without one, it’s just more convenient to have it.
By Cyborcat on May 30, 2009
if you want to do a quick LP do D, you cant save, so you have to beat the game in one sitting, max it will take like 4 hours if you really suck, but average you could beat it in like 3 hours, its very easy.
By noonotthat on May 30, 2009
you dont need a battery for the vmu to save with it, just so you know.
By noonotthat on May 30, 2009
Good to hear you’re doing better.
And I am very interested in Soul Reaver. It looked so awesome and I’ve been trying to track down a copy, but it has eluded me thus far. I look forward to the play-through.
