Finding Humor In Homelessness
August 21, 2009 – 4:12 pm
Interviewing a homeless, RV-dwelling ex-attorney in my Inglewood, California US Vets homeless veterans shelter transitional living facility dorm room on the little humors one can find in homelessness. A series. Hear the cadence calls of the gangbangers exercising across the street in the Alternative Education Facility? Gave me boot camp flashbacks! www.youtube.com

He just reminds me of an Isaac Bashevis Singer story about an old rabbi living in a Shtetl in Poland somewhere.. Truly authentic. Love this man

Perhaps if we stopped paying our enemies billions of dollars in foreign aid every year we could afford a decent domestic aid program.

Does anyone see a concrete solution for this inmense and tragic problem?
Small children don´t go to school, they live in the streets with all the inclemences of weather, expose to rats , filth , eating a very unhealty diet. When is someone going to do something ….geeez
