international word for what americans call soccer is football in most languages it’s the biggest sport not only in europe but in most continents south america africa asia and ofcourse europe….why is it even called football when half the time they don’t kick the ball….lol

well football simply is not american rugby. rugby does exist in the US, so that would be confusing and silly.
