I don’t get why Lewis get pissed when Republicans say Obama is socialist, I mean, you have to be totally deluded to not see that he is. It’s rather obvious. Then again, maybe he’s changed his opinion since then.

You honestly get the feeling that he’s a sincere man, and this is why I don’t feel guilty by enjoying his tirades when he puts on the façade of anger.

“when you’re angry, you’re not funny”
That is a strange line coming from Lewis!
I really enjoyed John Stewart tearing Crossfire and Jim Cramer new assholes. They were funny, but honest and genuine too.

Yea sometimes I like to laugh at O’Reilley’s face. His jokes arent that good though.

Lewis might get angry, but it’s part of his act. I think he actually feels that way, but anger is his facade. John really got…angry, really angry. It was awesome, and I loved it, but it was no longer just a comedic act. It was passionate and serious.

Mics are super unflattering…

It’s true. There’s a difference between comic mock anger and real anger. Many comedians are mock angry; it’s not real anger. But when a comic is actually angry, it’s not funny anymore.

Lewis Black is very difficult to listen to. He’s umm-ing and ah-ing and ‘you know’ – ing all over the place. And he keeps interupting what he’s saying too, and not finishing sentences. It’s awful. I do love his comedy though.

You obviously have never seen all of their acts, and their messages (especially Bill Hicks) has just gone right over your fuckin head.

That Phat Man with the boy in his eyes, JianThanks. fuel for the brain. multiple new sources & lewis likes of a N.Chomsky meets Bowies, The Man Who Fell to Earth. Sane needy to know & find anything less than a view of enlightenment is insantity. Crazy not to read Me Of Little Faith.

My friend is becoming a Jehovah’s Witness. It’s very tragic.

Ghomeshi responded to every ironic comment Black made with a literal question. Lewis Black went over Ghomeshi’s head at light speed.

disagree – SOMEONE has to do what Jon does – FOR REAL – straight faced and truthful.

I only have one thing to say – yes there are alot of bad things..but great things exist, too….sometimes it’s just covert. Please don’t overlook those little and big things taht are beautiful. It is MAN who made problems. PS – I am spiritual-not religious.

“they’re fatties” thats probably the best the word description of rush and oreilly i’ve heard
By BellaOxmix on Apr 8, 2010
Jian was trying to prevent Lewis from going over the heads of his audience
context for an ironic statement helps others see why it’s ironic
