If you want use that as the only reason he won is because of the liberal and youth vote then you’re right!If you looked back on the campaign while McCain was trying to get the heavyhitter lobbyists and congressional party,Barack was going for the small vote.   9. But you have to realize McCain wasn’t that qualified either for the position. Because he was a war vet they thought they he should automatically be elected and that turned to not be the case. The reason why Barack won if you want to look from a highly political perspective is that he was up to date on current issues and had a charismatic appeal to the middle classes which wasn’t seen since the Clinton campaign. SO please don’t say that he won just because he was black!
