(Part 6 of 9) Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones Review
April 5, 2010 – 2:31 pm
Part 6 of 9 of the epic Star Wars Episode 2 review – In this part we’re going to Jackson… Samuel L. that is LOL! We’re going to discuss the most awkward, odd, and inappropriate casting choice EVAR! We must also talk about racism and marketing for a bit. I’m sorry.

This is, by far, the greatest, in-depth, most backed-up commentary on why this movie (and this whole series) sucks major ass by revealing how the magic of film has turned to pure manipulation via movie reel.

The reason Samuel L Jackson was in Star Wars was because he went on a British tv show called TFI Friday and said it was a film he wanted to be in and specifically asked George Lucas trough the magic of tv – it wasn’t even Lucas’s idea, he doesn’t deserve the credit you give him!

@JamesOhGoodie
Ppl would then complain why the black man gotta play the bad guy
By moozles on Apr 5, 2010
Y’know, watching this, I just had an epiphany.
…What if Sam Jackson had played Count Dooku instead of Christopher Lee?
Not to put down Lee, he’s a great actor. But Mace Windu was a worthless character, and Lee didn’t get to do much with Dooku himself. The villains is always the best role, so you cast Sam Jackson he can act as passionate as wants and add in some menace. And even though he’d get killed black audiences would still love what a bad ass he was.
By JamesOhGoodie on Apr 5, 2010
Actually, they shouldn’t have worried about having a viable box office attraction for Mace Windu, since as a Star Wars movie it AOTC was already going to make buckets of cash anyway.

I’m glad Samuel L. got Mace Windu because it got him out of being type casted as the “bad motherfucker” in every movie. even though when he cut off Jango Fett’s head, Star Wars fans began to see him as a bad motherfucker with a lightsaber.

did you guys see at 7:32 the paypal donate button behind the train? LOL
By CaptCamping on Apr 5, 2010
yeah… Samuel L. Jackson is a cool guy and casted as a cool character in many films besides Star Wars Episode 2

It’s sad that the Clone Wars cartoon-miniseries, not the crap being shown now, Mace Windu was an absolute fucking badass.
By HiroOfLegend on Apr 5, 2010
Samuel L. Jackson is so unbelievably fucking awful in this movie. Mace Windu is a worthless worthless character.
