I don’t find women funny. I just don’t, i’m not causing an argument. Perhaps i’ve just never had the pleasure of meeting as funny woman???
By Tanglefert on Jul 19, 2010
Yeah I think I heard about that one. Except that in most of human history, women haven’t had much choice to choose their men…. oh well.
You know, on average, men are faster than women, but female Olympic runners will outrun 99.9% of the male population. Similarly, the funniest women will be funnier than most men.

@lucyanneferr
There is actually an evolutionary theory about why women aren’t funny, because the pressure is not placed on them to be funny or witty or charming, all those are burdened on to the man. Or so the theory goes anyway.

8:00 to 8:30 LOL – who says women aren’t funny? Love the look on Jerk Dee’s face… know when you’re beaten, you cuntless twat!

Best discussion of women comedians on shows ever. Especially when Sandi said that it was incredibly rare for her to be sitting next to a female comedian – and then that fool Jack Dee (representing 49% of humanity) had to butt in and head her off.
What a fucking prat you are, Mr Dee.

I nearly died at Jack’s sudden comment:
‘Is it cos when you get them started they don’t shut up?’

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I was always under the impression that gender was determined at conception when God chose you to be a man if important things were expected from you, or a woman if important men were to be born from you…
Only joking
but in truth I heard that gender is determined by whether or not the sperm has a Y chromosome or an X chromosome. Nothing you do after conception should make a difference, right?

@FryNeedsCalm If a female should happen to display comedic sarcasm or dry wit in a social situation they’re thought to be quite fantastically awesome. If they display the fact that they’re bitchy and cold however, that’s when they’re thought to be bitchy and cold. I specify comedic sarcasm as younger women tend to saturate conversations in sarcasm. But they’re not funny.

lol i love british shows

I really wish Ronni would stray off the “men never wash up” humour. She’s doing exactly what Stephen said was considered unfunny about female comedians — that they can’t shut up about being women.
