  13. I was my understanding that moshi moshi is used whenever you can’t see the person you are talking to. You could use it anytime you could not see the person that you are trying to start the conversation with, like when you are trying to talk to someone though an opaque screen or if you opened the door to someone’s home, but could not see them.
