I remember when this song came out in 72..I was 7 years old in the car with 3 of my very loud aunts yacking away and me wishing they would shut the hell up. Then when this song came up on the radio it got completely silent and peaceful..it became my favorite song thereafter..I even named my hamster “Ben”..it seems like it was just yesterday..and now MJ is no more..

Thanks for the memories, Michael..life will suck without you, but I will always remember you..you were truly my first idol..

What blast from the past. Not sure what 70s variety show this is a clip from, but I love the set and costume. Not a bad job lip-syncing for such a young performer.

MJ’s singing talent was incredible and I remember all the emotion this song evoked when I was 13 and it made No. 1 on the charts.
