It started cuz Michael was getting his plastic surgeries and he was looking more and more like Janet… I think it was due to both of them being really popular at the time so it seemed like everyone other day there was something saying this about Michael or this about Janet it wasn’t long after that they started saying Latoya and Michael were the same cuz they were never seen together.
