“Human Nature” is an R&B song by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was written by Steve Porcaro and John Bettis, and produced by Quincy Jones for the singer’s sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). Initially, Porcaro had recorded a rough demo of the song on a cassette, which was then given to Jones. Enjoying the demo, Jones had the ballad included on the Thriller album. for michael: i love you. we were only 2 1/2 years apart in age; i grew up with you, and i’ve been crying almost every day since you left.
‘human nature’ is one of my favorite songs. it was special because it spoke about how all of us have a public and private life. you were willing to show that to us – and realize that about each other.
you made this a better world by showing us how to see ‘the man in the mirror’ in ourselves.
