  2. Yeah some good point but we have to remember this Afro American thing is unique, Anyone who study this phenomenon will tell you most blacks have this “you hate me but i want to be like you” syndrome when you have money to change it and a low self esteem the result is not that surprising

  3. why do blacks love mj, the same reason that whites do, mayb r is a little depper b/c he was the first artist to cross the racial boundries and that made such great impact on us, i mean sure he might not “look” blck but he will always be black, we embrace him because of what he accomplish for blacks the same reason that we embraced obama and hes half white but b/c he also black and what he acc. for blacks we embrace him for that

  9. MJ was black. No doubt. Michael Jackson is the best musician ever.
    R.I.P MJ

  10. There are THREE types of Vitiligo… MJ had the most severe due to having Lupus… it affected his entire body.. He tried hiding it at first with make-up to match his brown skin, then eventually had to even it out to match the porceline skin… Do a google search.. All this was confirmed repeatedly… there’s a great vid on TY by QBEES showing pics of MJ’s skin changes as it happened over the years… I hope ppl with watch it. Including TYTs

  12. MJ hated been black so big deal lots of white people hate been white and like to be darker , some white people like to adopt black kids eg Madona , MJ liked to have white kids big deal so move on.

  13. I think many white americans care a great deal about MJ and were deeply affected by his death. Asian americans, african americans, etc and people throughout the planet loved him and his music. He was the most famous man in the world and one of the most controversial.

  14. michael jackson WAS black. shhiiiitttt. whats the argument here? either way, his music and voice transcended race. bill o’reilly is a hick.

  15. cenk, mj had THOUSANDS of co-workers that helped him sell MILLIONS of albums, earning him BILLIONS of dollars AND FANS!

    MANY are BLACK
    ALL are HUMAN
    NONE ARE REJECTED!

By dukenthaylor on Jul 14, 2009

  16. I’m sick of hearing about MJ being the first black musician, what about Jimi Hendrix? Much better music, and I don’t even know if black people listen to Jimi.

By blackmetalqueer on Jul 14, 2009

  17. O’Reilly makes a really good point though. Michael Jackson was never really played on black music stations, was never really embraced by the black community, and he never really reached out to them. It’s a matter of guys like Sharpton essentially taking “ownership” of him as a black musician. He was never apart of that community nor did he appeal to that culture at that time.

Nothing against black folks, but keep it real.

  18. what about Prince f.e. ? let’s just appreciate art and stop feeding on the personal opinions of people that do not wan’t peace but only fight together with mainstream racism that is totally broken when it comes to paying off a check with money – MJ ( rip ) : your experience is just that.

By dukenthaylor on Jul 14, 2009

  20. good point!!!!!!

By gabsylv on Jul 14, 2009

  21. Finally someone is smart enough to realize and report that Michael Jackson’s issues were not about race but about himself. He loved black people – he didn’t like himself- at least the way he looked.

By GinaMasera on Jul 14, 2009

  22. MJ had Vitaligo. Assholes

By jackofclubz on Jul 14, 2009

  23. Have to disagree the African-American dude about black people not caring how “black” you look. It’s an issue with every race. Darker-skinned blacks resent lighter-skinned blacks the same way lighter-skinned Hispanics look down upon darker-skinned Hispanics. It’s not really obvious but it’s there. It’s just life, man. BTW, I’m darker-skinned Hispanic.

  24. Michael Jackson’s birth certificate and death certificate states he is a BLACK MALE.

    By llgreen1962 on Jul 14, 2009

  25. Bill O’Reilly is a racist CUNT. Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer of all time – bar none and will always be seen as a legend. O’Reilly is a nobody and will remain so.

By ezekielthemack on Jul 14, 2009

  26. ..bill o’ 4kin reilly can eat all kind’a dog doo-doo his @ss-hole can sniff-’bout..

…makes me continue to doubt how these white-boys got their degrees from to be non-profesional journalist, but stinkin’-bull-shittin’ racist comic-hosts… did you 4kin take humanity in school,.. ya ma’m didn’t tel y?
